Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport.

On arrival in Kathmandu: Having cleared immigration, collect your luggage and passed through customs, please make your way towards the exit of the terminal building where you will see a bank of people waiting for you.

Visit Pashupatinath & Bouddhanath: Pashupatinath, situated on the banks of River Baghmati around 8 km from the city, is one of the holiest Hindu shrines. The Pashupatinath Temple is the oldest Hindu temple in Kathmandu. It is not known for certain when Pashupatinath Temple was founded. But according to Nepal Mahatmaya and Himvatkhanda, the deity here gained great fame there as Pashupati, the Lord of the Animals. Pashupatinath Temple’s existence dates back to 400 A.D. The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga or holy symbol of Lord Shiva. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world come to pay homage to this temple that is also known as ‘The Temple of Living Beings presiding deity here is Shiva, who is worshipped in the form of the lingam. However, only Hindus are allowed inside.

Lunch at Local Restaurant at Bouddhanath: Bouddhanath (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is the centre of Tibetan culture in Nepal. The 36-meter-high Stupa of Bouddhanath is one of the largest Stupas in South Asia. Bouddhanath Stupa was renovated by the Licchavi rulers in the eighth century. The mandala design in Bouddhanath is a copy of the one in Gyangtse in Tibet. The stupa is said to entomb the remains of a Kasyap sage venerable both to Buddhists and Hindus. Smaller stupas are located at the base. Gompa monasteries, curio shops, and restaurants surround Bouddhanath. Today, Bouddhanath bustles with Tibetan population, busy with carpet manufacture, trade, and prayers at the several monasteries belonging to different sects of Tibetan Buddhism. Rest of the day is free at your own.

Day 02: Kathmandu – Pokhara
Breakfast is at Hotel.

At Appropriate time transfer to Domestic airport to connect flight to Pokhara. (Flight excludes) Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of 900m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley, the city is known as a center of adventure. The enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an
ambience of peace and magic.

Arrive Pokhara and check in at hotel.
Lunch at Local Restaurant.
Board the vehicle and drive to Kalimati to visit the World Peace Stupa, situated high on a hill on the southern shore of Phewa Lake. Besides being an impressive sight in itself, the shrine enjoys a wonderful vantage point, which offers spectacular views of the Annapurna range and Pokhara below. Walk down hill through the forest clad slopes where the guide will explain the flora and fauna. On reaching the shores of the lake, embark on an early evening cruise on Phewa Lake. World Peace Pagoda a massive Buddhist Stupa is situated on the top of a hill on the southern shore of Phewa Lake. Besides being an impressive sight in itself, the shrine is a great advantage point which offers the spectacular views of the Mountain Ranges, Phewa Lake & Pokhara City.

Transfer to Phewa Lake for enjoy one-hour boat ride Phewa Lake: The center of attraction in Pokhara is the Phewa Lake – the second largest lake in the Kingdom. It is the largest and most enchanting of the three lakes that add to the resplendence of Pokhara. Here, one can sail or row a hired boat across to the water or visit the island temple in the middle. After boat ride free for shopping in the lake side market.

Dinner and Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara

Day 03: Pokhara

Breakfast is at hotel.

Early morning transfers to Sarangkot for sunrise. At an altitude of 1592 meters, this mountain sits north of Pokhara overlooking the valley and Fewa Tal. Sarangkot is a beautiful village best known for its sunrise, where on a clear day can see an unobstructed view of the Himalayan Mountains of Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail. Bindabasini Temple: This temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga (manifested as Bhagwati, a blood-thirsty aspect of the goddess) is located near the busy Old Bazaar of Pokhara. The white pagoda-styled building at some 3000 feet above sea level is of great religious importance to Hindus living in Pokhara. People throng to this temple daily and also offer sacrifices of animals. One may also get to witness a Hindu wedding ceremony taking place in the temple premises.

Lunch at Local Restaurant. David’s Fall: Devi’s Fall (also known as Devin’s and David’s) is a lovely waterfall lying about 2-Km south-west of the Pokhara airport on the Siddhartha Highway. Legend has it that a trekker (Devin, David) was washed away by the Pardi Khola and mysteriously disappeared down into an underground passage beneath the fall. Gupteswore Cave: One of the largest caves in Pokhara dedicated to Lord Shiva is another nature’s wonder in Pokhara.

Seti Gorge: Pokhara valley is a valley of geological wonder. Because of the three major caves and Seti River the inner part of the valley has many natural tunnels. They are still to be explored. Seti River has made awesome gorges in many sections. In some section the gorges goes more than 200 meter deep whereas the width is just about 20 meters. The best places to observe the wild feature of Seti River are K. I Sing Bridge, Mahendra Pool Bridge, Prithvi Chowk Bridge and Some other small crossing. In the evening, we will go for some handicrafts shopping, for those who want to take a taste of Nepal home with them.

Day 04: Pokhara – Kathmandu
Breakfast is at Hotel.

At Appropriate time transfer to Domestic airport to connect flight to Kathmandu. (Flight excludes)

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
Lunch at Local Indian Restaurant. Bhadgaon (Bhaktapur) is located about 20 km east of Kathmandu and drive around 30 min. Bhaktapur is another Newar city founded in the 9th century. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is located in
the center of Bhaktapur. The Square is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the Valley as it highlights some of the finest medieval arts of Nepal. The main items of interest in Bhaktapur Durbar Square are the Lion Gate, the Golden Gate and the statues of kings on stone monoliths. The Golden Gate was erected by King Ranjit Malla as the entrance to the main courtyard of the Fifty-five Windowed Palace. The Palace of Fifty-five Windows was built during the reign of
King Yakshya Malla in A.D. 1427 and was remodeled by King Bhupatindra Malla in the seventeenth century. Bhaktapur Durbar (Royal) Square was added to the list of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1979. Farewell Dinner at Bhojan Griha with Traditional and cultural Dance Show

Day 05: Depart Kathmandu
